My Best Wishes to Students Attending TANCA Councling

Students are confused about M.E counselling. We would like to give some general advice to candidates who are going to attend M.E counselling.
Counselling:
Similar to B.E counselling, M.E counselling will also take place in the same way. Please be sure that you have all eligible certificates to attend counselling. Don’t involve in producing duplicate documents. The required documents will be
  • 10th & 12the certificate*
  • Degree certificate*
  • Provisional certificate
  • GATE scorecard / Tancet Score card
  • Community certificate
  • Mark sheets of all semester (If you miss any semester, don’t worry you can show the Consolidated mark sheet that you receive at final semester)
  • Call letter + Acknowledgement card
  • Tancet hallticket
  • If PWD then Certificate of disability
  • Nativity certificate
**Please retain photocopies of all the certificates mentioned
Also have Cash amount that is to be deposited at the time of admission. Among the certificates that have been mentioned above, only the Hall ticket(Tancet) and Score card will be submitted. Others will be verified and returned.
Process:
The sessions for your score will be informed in all leading newspapers and also through counselling call letters. Students will be called for seats more than available. The seats will be allocated according to your Rank-score basis. So there always exist heavy competition.
What college will i get for XX.XX score?
This is the question that is asked by all students. Well what we had said to the commentators was based on the methodology that was adopted till the previous year. Comparing with that detail we are able to predict the approximate position[college/course] that will be available to the students. Some of the students may or may not get the colleges that we had proposed. All it depends on time.
So what to do…?
First, list the colleges for your preference.Be sure to choose the best colleges first.List out minimum of 3 colleges at least that will be possible for your score.Refer your friends, relatives, neighbours and collect data about colleges – how they are in teaching, job oppurtunities etc. Then sortlist them according to your wish. Then sortlist the course in them.Choose wisely.
Simple Guidelines
Colleges:
Plan to select the best college rather than the best course. As already we mentioned "a simple course in a best reputed institutes is better than an excellent course in an average college"
Main advantage of choosing M.E degree is that you wll surely get a lecturer job any any engineering college. But to get a job in reputed institutions you must have studied in reputed institutes with high technical knowledge. So if you plan to go for "teaching profession" or to do Ph.D, then choose the college which is excellent in teaching with good teachers.
Course:
If you choose a different course that is not taken by most students, then you must have a clear idea of how you can excell in career. You must have the clear map of how to frame your future.
If you choose a regular course, you must have to excell in it.So what you have to do is that choose the best college & course for your score range.
Part-time courses : These category is best for job persons.Persons who will to do study along with job can choose this courses.
But the disadvantage of these courses is that these courses are not recognised as best as Fulltime courses. Also there is a disadvantage of long term (3 years for Part-time degree) & higher fees than the normal full-time students.
                                                        ALL THE BEST  to all
