Other average and below average colleges

College ranking in the above table is on last CET basis.
Selecting an average course in a better college is superior than selecting a better course in an average college. For example, consider if a B.E., EEE graduate appearing for TANCA, the course choices are wide and the order of preference may be Power Electronics, Power System, and Applied Electronics, he can choose Applied Electronics (though his third priority), in a reputed college rather than Power Electronics (his first priority) in an average college. More preference should be given to the institution than the course. Choosing a college and a course is very vital. Have at least three choices based on your rank. Pick the best course and best college for your rank.

  1. I have an overall rank of 983, my community rank is BCM 24 in ECE. I want either Embedded or VLSI. Can i get CEG, PSG or SSN? and is vlsi in ssn better than embedded in CIT,GCT or other colleges?

My main aim is VLSI but embedded is ok. Pls help me out. I dont know if i shud attend counselling. How many seats do they allocate for BCM in a typical ME course. (3.5% of 18 seats is less than 1!!)
